Has anybody managed to link frame.io to Shotgrid ? I am starting to look into that for my company and I surprised it hasnt been done. Any info appreciated !
There have been several customers over the years that have hacked some things together (myself included), but there isn’t a great solution yet.
It really boils down to ShotGrid being shot-based and understanding the context of a shot within a timeline (Cut), but in Frame we don’t have a fundamental understanding of the clip within a timeline, so you’d have to translate timecode → cut → specific shot yourself.
