Introducing the Frame.io MCP Server

Yes, very interested. i’ve had to create my own ecosystem via api to be able to use it this far, but I would love to have official MCP acces for Frame.io, I already have everything set up.

Hi Rosie, I’d love to join the Frame.io MCP beta. I’m a freelance video editor running client review workflows in Frame.io (Premiere Pro and After Effects), and I use Claude Code daily. I’d mainly use it to pull review comments into my edit notes, manage version stacks and create client share links. Happy to give feedback. Thanks!

Hi Rosie, I’d love to try the MCP server beta. I’m an AI video generator working in Frame.io V4 every day: uploading versioned rough cuts and clip folders (V1, V2, V3) for review, then reading the reviewer’s timecoded comments to plan the next round. I run my work through Claude Code, so I’d use the MCP for uploads, folder creation, checking asset counts and pulling comments straight into the build. Happy to share feedback on how it works for a daily review loop. Thanks!

Hi! I’d love to be added to the MCP server beta. I’m a freelance video editor, and I use Claude Code with Premiere Pro to build and edit sequences. I already use Frame.io to send cuts to clients for review, so being able to upload files and generate share links from the same Claude setup would save me a lot of time.

Hi Rosie, just missed the last group but would like to be added to the MCP server beta as well. Thank you!

Hi Rosie, also just missed the last group!

Very keen to be added to the MCP server beta.

Thanks

Hi Rosie I was looking for something like for a while now. So glad I found your post. If you still have space I’d love to join in.

Hi Rosie,

If there is still space to join, would love to get involved with the MCP server beta.

Thanks!

Hello! I work for Elayne and Co Nail Academy we would love to implement this if you could send me the link that would be wonderful!

Hey @rosiec,

We would love to get access to the MCP server beta too please if possible! Cheers

Can I get access? Thanks a lot!

I’d like to get access @rosiec !

Hey Rosie, I would really love to be part of this early access program as well. We are a video production/digital marketing agency, and we use AI heavily in our workflows. Frame.io is also a big part of our business, so we would love to see how this would help our systems communicate even better. Thanks.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Rosie, I’d be interested in the new Frame.io MCP - Having plenty experience with setting up workflows and apps in Claude

Hi Rosie, I’d love to join the MCP beta.

I’m Daniel, a freelance video editor in Poland. I work on Frame.io V4 (Adobe login) with the Frame.io panel in Premiere Pro, and I send 1 to 2 films a week to clients for review.

I run a small team of Claude agents (Claude Code) that already help with cutting prep and QC. With MCP I’d like them to: upload a new version to the right project and version stack, create the review link, and after the client reviews, pull all comments with timecodes into a revision checklist for me. I’d start read-heavy and keep a human approval step before anything is shared with clients.

Happy to give feedback on comment and timecode handling in long-form edits. Thanks!

Hi Rosie, I’m super interested in this new MCP to implement it in our Claude. Would you mind add our team to this beta test?

Hi Rosie!!

I’d love to join the MCP Server beta. I’m Julia, a creative strategist on the Paid Social team at Ridge! We use Frame.io every day to review our Meta ad creative.

I’ve recently set up an AI-assisted editing workflow with Claude. It pulls the brief and footage, cuts the variations and handles music and voiceover, but the last step is still manual: uploading each variations folder to our RIDGE project, creating the share link and adding it to the Notion task. Plus reading the comments and applying relative revisions. With MCP access, Claude could:

  • upload new variation folders straight into our project
  • create share links and add them to our review tracker
  • read reviewer comments so revisions start from the actual feedback

We ship a high volume of ad variations every week, so it would save real time, and I’m happy to share feedback on how it works for a creative team at our scale.

Thanks so much!
Julia

Hey Rosie, I’d love to join the beta if you’re still taking people on! I run ZANA, a creative video agency in Melbourne, and we use a lot of AI and MCP integrations in our workflow. We use Frame.io and the new Frame Drive for client reviews and editor collaboration, so I’d love to stress test this on real projects and share feedback. Particularly keen to try summarising client feedback, turning comments into edit notes and managing review links through ChatGPT or even having GPT-6 Astra work with files on my computer and upload them into neatly organised Frame.io projects and folders.

Would love to have access!

Thanks,
Robbie
