Change the display name of the status inside frame.io from Needs review to Rejected

Hi Team,

Is there a way to change the display name of the status from Needs review to Rejected , do we have any configurations for it in frame.io?

+1 on this. very counterintuitive and would even pay extra to customize these choices.

ha, spent some time looking in Settings before googling and ending up here! Was really confident this was an obvious requirement. And to also add additional Status’. #watching

I can confirm this is one of our #1 feature requests and that we will be addressing this in the future, stay tuned!

One of the biggest online retail service (one of our clients) has requested that we look into changing the name of the status. I noticed that this enhancement was in the pipeline. Can someone provide a timeline? Thank you,

This feature is available in our Version 4 update but I can’t comment on the timing for its general availability.

Just brought my team over to Frame.io and I would say being able to change these statuses for clarity for them is of the utmost importance.

Currently we have established amongst ourselves ‘No Status’ means it has been reviewed, because all the others don’t fit.

I have good news for you! Custom statuses are available in Frame.io V4.

unfortunately. Adobe Integration is still not available for this version. Will the V3 be updated?

We have an early preview of our Premiere integration that was released to the Exchange Marketplace yesterday, which you can find here. This will also be bundled in the Beta builds of Premiere as the “Review” panel.

Does this integration allow you to change the display name of the status?

The integration doesn’t in and of itself, but V4 does support additional custom statuses on assets.
