Automations Zapier, Make etc for dummies

I’ve been reading the forum trying to wrap me head around automations with V4, and for someone that is completely new to this, it’s pretty confusing.

So currently as I understand, there is an “alpha” and “current” version of API. And it seems that you can do something with the alpha version, but the end points will break as soon changes are made on adobe side.

Regardless, I have no idea how to code and the current guide might work for some but for most that want to build simple automations that have no background in this its a bit of a mind fck.

All I am interested in is when can we expect a simple intergration with zapier or make where people like me can click a few buttons and have the automations done?

I appriciate you are working hard on this.

We’re working through the last couple of blockers and we’re planning to have some no-code solutions with Frame.io V4 support in beta in the next few weeks barring any major issues that come up!

Any news about that? Best regards

Hello @jhodges , news about that? I need to find a solution to the end of Slack integration.
As I see, this is my only hope…

We just launched the Zapier V4 beta!

great!
But It can’t keep the connection, always disconnect…

Can you explain a bit more as to your issue? We tested with lots of different account types and connections and never ran into this error so any info you could provide would be helpful!

I am creating the connection with the app. Zapier opens an Adobe connection window. When I am in a Chrome account I use with Adobe, it won’t even let me fill in anything. It goes straight to the connection and then displays the message “Frame.io V4 is expired, bad request”. I tried it on an anonymous Chrome account, and it opens the same Adobe login window where I can enter my account and password. But the same thing happens, the same information appears: “Frame.io V4 is expired, bad request.”

@thiagonassif I am unable to reproduce your error, I’ve tried on a brand new account, multiple other account types and so on and have been unsuccessful. I would reach out to the Zapier team to help. This sounds like a handshake issue between Adobe’s OAuth & Zapier platform.

i have the same issue

@Blumonkey I solved my problem following this

You must connect the frame.io account to an Adobe account and then connect this account to zapier.

best regards
