After being told we’re being forced to move to v4 by the end of the month. I’m looking at the zapier integration and I don’t see feature parity between the legacy & v4.
Notably we’re missing the API request that we had previously, this was really critical to our workflow.
Is there a ETA for when this will be available?
hi @Cannonball could you be more specific about what exactly is missing? The V4 version of Zapier was released with as near parity as we could manage (minus search as that does not exist in the V4 API just yet). That would be helpful in identifying if there’s a critical missing piece here.
edit: I see what you mean, there’s an API Request (beta) feature in the legacy version. This seems to be added by Zapier itself (it is not in our code) and I have reached out to them to see if they can add this into the V4 integration as well.
Thanks Charlie! Yeah the API Request action let me make requests for information that I’d otherwise not receive from the other actions. This was really important for allowing me to find the ID of a folder within a templated folder structure for example.
Got it, yeah this was not part of our legacy integration (AKA not in the code) and was added by Zapier themselves. I’ve put in a request for them to add it and will get back to you
