Attempting to Use Comment Counts to Identify a state of a current project but, it is not an output data as it used to be in Frame.io V3 yet, it’s something that you can natively pull out from the file itself.
Is this something y’all plan on releasing anytime soon or, is this a bug from our end?
hi @Tzizzy by comment counts do you mean being able to list the number of comments on an asset or something else? Would you be able to provide examples?
Yes, that’s right!
Goal:
When we use the “Show File” action, we want it to show the total number of comments on the asset.
Before (with Frame V3), this used to happen automatically whenever there were triggers connected to the asset. We understand if that’s changed, but our goal now is just to see the total comment count in that action.

But this data doesn’t show up, no matter what action or trigger we use in Zapier, even when we select “include additional data.”
Got it, thanks for the context! This feature is available in the API as “list comments” but wasn’t added into Zapier just yet. I’ll make a ticket to add this to the next round of updates.
