Have migrated over our existing workflow we built on Zapier with the new v4 connection. For the most part it was a smooth process. The only real issue we have run into is don’t see a way to pull the thumbnail in original size / high quality. In the old API there was a way to pull the native resolution thumbnail. The new api only returns a low res thumbnail.
Is there a way to pull that higher res thumbnail or is it on the roadmap?
Our use case is we use that thumbnail to auto create a YouTube Thumbnail. The lower res thumbnail just is stretched too much if we use the full YouTube thumb size.
@kentono thanks for the clarification. That doesn’t seem to be in the API at all yet, as we only have ?include=media_links.thumbnail as an option. I added a ticket today to address this. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!
@kentono can confirm this was not intended as the high res was supposed to be returned in the request. It has been added to a future sprint to address (so you shouldn’t need to change your current code/workflow, it will work as intended in the future). Will follow up when this is complete.
