Hi, this API feature went out before it was generally available to people to access. We should have an update later in the coming weeks.

hi @Jodencc Account level metadata (ALM) rolled out to all new Frame.io accounts recently. You can create a new account to test this out if you’d like!

All existing V4 accounts will need to be migrated over to ALM, this timeline to completion is still TBD.
Oh ok, this is exciting – I’ve been using frame for over a year so I’d hate to lose everything. Is there an easy migration strategy for this (i.e migrating data)? or is this a manual sort of deal at current?

You won’t have to do anything! It will be an automated process. It’s just a bit tricky as you can imagine and we want to ensure it’s handled exceptionally well with all the edge cases addressed, which is why it’s taking a bit longer to migrate users.
Hey Charlie, It’s been 6 weeks, and I’d rather not have to make a new account. I did try it out and see that it was a fairly simple to use option. Can I not please enable account level metadata for my workspace? I have been using frame well over 20 months now, and even if you just give me an API endpoint to enable it, I’m happy. But this hell right now of knowing it’s a possibility, yet not being able to use it is causing severe and unnecessart disruption. I don’t understand why this is taking so long.
