Hi everyone,
I’m building a Android app client for Frame and ran into an account lockout while testing.
Account: kirill@androidbroadcast.dev
Location: Belarus
Timeline:
- Everything worked normally until ~10:00 GMT+3 today.
- Around 18:00 GMT+3 today, after making a series of REST API requests via Postman, curl, and my Android app (still in development), I lost access.
- Since then, logging in via Adobe auth returns: “You do not have access to this service. Contact your IT administrator to learn more.”
I contacted support and was redirected here since they couldn’t resolve account-level access, and this looked more like an API-related trigger than a billing/account issue.
Questions:
- Could a burst of API requests from Postman/curl/a dev app trigger an automatic block or rate-limit lockout on the account itself (not just the API key)?
- Is there a known interaction between Adobe auth and requests coming from Belarus (export control / regional restriction) that could produce this exact error message, independent of API usage?
- If this is a security/anti-abuse trigger, what’s the correct way to get it reviewed and lifted?
Any guidance from the team or others who’ve hit this would be appreciated.
Thanks, Kirill
