I want to propose that there is an option to select a Background color per video or per shared link for this : --colors-components-player-background-media - This mainly applies to the list view, when sharing a folder structure full of videos that a client needs to review. I would use Reel view, but then you have to hover the folders to see their names… which is a PITA.

I’m saying this because recently I was working on a bunch of videos with #000000 background and some of them where portrait sized… and the client was complaining not being able to see the edges of the video.

Support actually suggested to add a border to the video… like on the video itself, but that’s dangerous and not a good practice.

Hopefully this will get fixed very soon!
